FINAL YEAR PROJECT

  Title: Object Localization in 3D Point Clouds
Description: The point cloud is richer in information context compared to 2D images. Therefore, the prediction result is more promising. Object localization helps to locate objects like cars, cyclists, and pedestrians in the point cloud scene of a road, where the 3D coordinates are determined. Besides, the 3D dimensions of the object will be determined as well. This is accomplished by deep learning where the features of the point cloud are abstracted to determine the bounding boxes.

Position: Assistant Project Engineer (Mechanical Design Department)
Description: Assisted project engineer in following up projects to ensure work accomplishment within the restricted time frame. Worked closely with cross-functional teams of design, assembly, testing, and fabrication through the development of new products. Conducted several final test acceptances (FAT). Performed mechanical design on certain components which are requested by customers upon the FAT. Exported many engineering drawings for the fabrication of machine components.
